Who will photograph our wedding?

Wedding Photography is personal to every couple. From your first inquiry right through to picking up your photographs after the wedding, you will deal directly with your photographer. Contact us with your date, and we will imediately send you links to the portfolios of the photographers we have available for your date. You can read up on them, view their work, then set up a time to meet them. It is your choice which photographer you'd like to be at your wedding.

Do you use an assistant?

Yes. We use fully qualified photographers as our assitants. Among many of the things they do to support you on your wedding day, they so things such as shooting from locations where your main photographer can't be (e.g., the balcony during the ceremony). During more formal photography, the assistant will be close at hand to help with tasks such as hair, make-up, props, lighting, loading memory cards, switching lenses, charging and changing batteries, etc. This leaves the photographer totally available to capture all those magical moments!

What's Your Style?

Many of our clients book with use because they appreciate our highly creative, passionate images we produce. They don't look that way by accident... We believe the majority of your wedding photographs should convey the true events of your day. In addition to the relaxed family and wedding party portraits, we work behind the scenes to capture all the real moments and events that gave both you and your guests an unforgettable and unique day!

Is there a limit on the number of photos you will take?

No. What's most important to you, and therefore to us, is that your day is covered in a complete way. We always bring extra memory cards, cameras, lenses and flashes to be sure you are totally covered.

Do I get to keep my digital wedding photographs?

Yes. You get to keep the "digital negatives" as high resolution images - unmarked and ready to print.

After the wedding day, we download all the images to our computers and create digital backups immediately. We then spend 3-4 days editing them and selecting the best images on your behalf. You will receive your proof album within 6 weeks of your wedding.

You can take the DVD to any lab and print as many of your photos at any size you like! We have compiled a resource page to help you choose the store that's right for you. If you want the best possible results, with our creative post-production work done to each of your prints, we also offer print packages.

Do you shoot digital or film?

We shoot with the latest generation professional Canon and Nikon digital cameras, lenses and lighting. If you would like to know specifics, please ask us when you make your inquiry. Do you do special request photos?

I've heard horror stories about photographers turning up in track suit pants... what do you wear?

We dress in smart work wear. Typically this is black or neutral clothing with black leather shoes. We do our best to match the style of your wedding, but ultimately we don't want to distract from your day!

What is your price & payment policy?

We require a 50% retainer to gaurantee our services. The remaining balance can be paid up to 1 week prior to the wedding.

What sort of things do you cover in your wedding photography contract?

We have custom designed our wedding photography contract to suit your exact needs. If you would like to read over it before meeting us, we will be very happy to email it to you. Just request it when you contact us.
